Frankston City Council is committed to ongoing community involvement in the Frankston 2025 initiative, and building strong partnerships to achieve the community's vision.
The Frankston 2025 Community Vision cannot be achieved by Council alone, and the involvement of residents, businesses, community groups, organisations and all levels of government is important in ensuring that the vision turns into reality.
As an organisation, we are now looking at how we will respond to the Community Vision and what strategies we'll put in place to achieve the community's aspirations.
In the implementation of the Frankston 2025 Community Vision, the Council will have multiple roles:
In 2008, Council is reviewing its four-year Council Plan based on the themes outlined in the vision. We are also in the process of developing 'State of the City' reporting, the proposed means to measure progress towards achieving the Community Vision.
