From September to December 2006, community surveys were held across Frankston City at local community events and online.
Respondents were asked to describe what features they value about their life in Frankston City now, as well as their ideal future vision for Frankston City in 20 years time.
Face to face interviewing of randomly selected individuals occurred at a variety of local community events. These events included a sausage sizzle at the Frankston Skate Park, the World's Greatest Pram Stroll at Ballam Park, a local Citizenship Ceremony, the Langwarrin Community Festival, in the Council's WHAT truck and through the Youth Resource Centre. Online surveys were also available on the Frankston 2025 Web site.
This information, together with the information gathered at the Frankston 2025 Conference and the Frankston 2025 Community Workshops, contributed to the final Community Vision.
